The Redeeming Grace Church Basecamp (Grades 6-12) meets every other Thursday night from 6:00-8:00 PM to fellowship, enjoy fun games, and study the Word together. Our students also enjoy monthly fun events together such as hiking, bonfires & s'mores, lunch at the park after church, etc. Finally, we attend a youth camp with other like-minded churches in the Greater Phoenix Valley for a more focused time of discipleship and relationship building.
Our culture often has low expectations for students between 6th and 12th grade. But at RGC, we understand these years to be some of the most important and influential years of their lives. For that reason, we don’t have low expectations. Instead, we seek to use this time as a “Basecamp”—a place where students can grasp God’s Word, learn solid theology, and be equipped for the journey of a faithful Christian life.
Another key element of our youth ministry is helping students build healthy relationships. Through fun events and youth camps, we give students opportunities to get to know one another and form friendships that we hope will last for years. Beyond that, we desire for students to know the volunteers and members of the church, so they can glean wisdom from more mature believers during their time in Basecamp.

“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” —2 Timothy 3:14-15
