Matthew: the King and His Kingdom
Written in the late 60's AD, Matthew's gospel records eyewitness testimony about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Like a skilled scribe, Matthew weaves together Jesus' mighty works and his authoritative words to showcase the fulfillment of God's ancient, saving promises. Through Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, God's kingdom has come. Matthew beckons us to respond to our King with the bowed knee of allegiance and a heart full of faith in Him.
